Our pantomime for December 2008 will be

"Dick Whittington" -

The pantomime will take place from Wednesday December 10th to Friday 12th at 7-30pm nightly with two shows on the Saturday at 1-30pm and 6pm. People who are bringing children are advised to book early for the Saturday shows as from past experience these seats get booked very early and we don't want you to be disappointed

Rehearsals will commence on June 18th with a Summer Break starting after the July 30th rehearsal and we will re-assemble on Wednesday September 3nd.

"The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society  ( F.A.H.E.T.G.D.S. )Murder Mystery" by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jnr. is our choice for May 2009.  This is a play about some rather silly women putting on a play. There's not enough of them so they all have to take on more than one role and they keep forgetting who they are meant to be.  They're totally incompetent so the scenery keeps falling down and they keep losing or breaking their props. We have done quite a few of these plays in the past with great success and we hope that we will do the same this time.  These plays are hard work for those involved ( be it onstage or backstage) but they are great fun to be in and our audiences seem to like them.
