WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR
ADULT SUPPORT IN OUR GROUP, AND FOR OUR CURRENT
PRODUCTION. WE ARE ESPECIALLY PLEASED THAT SO MANY YOUTH MEMBERS HAVE
SHOWN SUCH AN INTEREST TO HELP WITH "THE LOVELACE LEGACY" AND
HOPE THEY WILL ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE AND LEARN FROM IT! New members are always needed in Drama groups and we are no exception. We need MEN in particular in order to put on a good range of productions but ladies too are always welcome. Maybe you have always wanted to try your hand at acting, or maybe you prefer to be one of the 'crew' who help the Stage Manager construct the various 'sets' needed for the scenery and do the scene changes etc. during the 'run' of a show. There are many and varied jobs to choose from in a drama group and if you prefer to take a back seat, but also do a most valuable job, you can make the tea to keep us all sustained during rehearsals and performances. We have been pleased to make a financial donation towards his costs, which he is having to raise himself. WELL DONE ! to Hayleigh Gasston who has recently joined us and took over the role of Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz Panto", for the last two performances on the Saturday when our leading lady fell ill! CONGRATULATIONS to James Hurford-Reynolds who has recently received a reward for his outstanding help in school, including organising an anti-bullying campaign and Pupil Mentoring. Well done James! PARENTS AND CARERS PLEASE READ We'd like your support too please! Our numbers have been dwindling recently and we are finding it difficult to get everything done in time. If every family could offer adult support, either during rehearsals or during production week, our job would be so much easier.
